Quick Start
Welcome to ProdExec. This guide provides a 5-step checklist to get your first production site up and running, from initial setup to your first published route.
Setup Checklist
Follow these steps to initialize your environment:
1. Define Units of Measure (UOM)
Before creating products, you must define how you count things. Under Settings > Master Data, configure your primary units (e.g., EA, KG, Meters).
- Bubba Motor Works Tip: Ensure your UOMs match your ERP integration codes exactly.

2. Configure Site & Locations
Define your physical Manufacturing Site and the specific Locations (Warehouses, Work Centers, or Loading Docks) within it.
- Path: Enterprise -> Sites -> [New Site]
3. Register Assets & Resources
Identify the machines and human workstations that will execute the work. Every operation in a Route must be assigned to an Asset.

4. Create Product Family & Route
Define what you are making and how.
- Create the Product Family.
- Build the Route using the Visual Route Designer.
- Publish the Route to make it available for production.

5. Launch First Work Order
Release your first Work Order to the shop floor. Link it to your newly created Route and assign it to an active Production Line.
Next Steps
Once your first Work Order is active, explore the Operator Terminal documentation to see how your floor team interacts with these digital instructions in real-time.
