Introduction
ProdExec is an Execution-First Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Unlike traditional systems that focus primarily on record-keeping, ProdExec is designed to bridge the gap between high-level ERP planning and the reality of the Shop Floor.
The Execution-First Philosophy
In many manufacturing environments, there is a "black hole" between when an ERP releases a work order and when it is finished. ProdExec fills this void by providing:
- Sub-millisecond Orchestration: Handling high-speed assembly and machine synchronization.
- Real-time Visibility: Instant feedback for stakeholders like those at Bubba Motor Works.
- Low-Latency Edge Nodes: Ensuring the line never stops, even if the corporate network does.
For new users and stakeholders, ProdExec serves as the single source of truth for how things are made, not just what was made.

Bridging the ERP/Floor Gap
ProdExec integrates seamlessly with your existing Enterprise Resource Planning software. While the ERP manages "The Business" (Orders, Inventory, Finance), ProdExec manages "The Build".
- ERP Level: Financial plan, customer orders, and raw material procurement.
- ProdExec Level: Work instruction delivery, machine interlocking, and quality traceability.
- Shop Floor: Physical movement of goods and machine execution.
